8 Days, 1 Story - Day 5: "Sit here while I go over there and pray"
Maundy Thursday recognizes and commemorates the time when Jesus ate his last Passover Meal and instituted the Lord’s Supper (Communion). Then he washed his disciples’ feet and gave them a new commandment – to love and serve one another as he loved and served them (John 13:3-17 and 34). Afterwards, Jesus was betrayed by Judas, arrested, and denied by Peter.
Be transported in the following video to the Garden of Gethsemane. Watch Pastor Dan share a devotion in the very place Jesus loved, where he went most often to pray and draw close to his Father in love and obedience.
And please join us at one of our identical Maundy Thursday services, this evening at 6pm or 7:30pm, at our Saginaw campus. You will be blessed during this time of retrospection, prayer, and communion.
