New Digital Bible Experience for Preteen Students
How do you get a preteen to spend more time reading the Bible?
This is one of the most popular questions I get as the Preteen Director. In true Preteen Ministry fashion, I ask them a question back:
What kind of Bible or devotionals are they reading?
Preteens are starting to own their own faith and they need a way to read the Bible that works for them. This can mean a few different options, and all of them can be useful and used at the same time.
One of those options can be some form of digital format. Preteens have lived in a digital world their entire lives and it is something they will take to very easily.
The issue is: there are so many options out there - how do you know what is a good one? I've recently discovered a tool that is designed for preteens specifically. The Bible App has just released a preteen-specific daily Bible experience.
To have the largest and most popular Bible App recognize the importance of having something age-appropriate, relevant, and in a trusted format for preteens is huge!
Simply download the free Bible App from your app store. Once installed, you will need to install an update that is accessed through this link.
This new app experience has a daily scripture selection, relevant videos, devotionals, questions to reflect on, and prayers for them. The coolest thing is how personally interactive they can be with this experience. Preteens can answer the questions on the app, highlight scripture, along with sharing with their friends what they are reading and learning.
This is one more way to “Let Go of the Bike” and allow your preteen to take on more step in owning their personal relationship with Jesus.
