Topic: Sunday Message Verse: 1 Corinthians 5:12–5:2
1 Corinthians 5:12 NIV
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
Judging or Judgmental?
There's a difference for Christians between making judgments versus being judgmental. When we make a judgment, we're assessing an action; when we're being judgmental, we're condemning a person ("that person is... and should be..."). Also when we make a judgment, we're discerning the rightness of what we see; when we're being judgmental, we're judging their worth.
